I am currently a first-year PhD student in Computer Science (CS) at Georgia Tech, working with Prof. Yalong Yang on Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) problems in Augmented/Virtual Reality (AR/VR). I obtained Master’s degree in HCI from Georgia Tech and Bachelor’s degree in CS from both University of Michigan (UM) and Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU). During my undergraduate time at UM, I worked with Prof. Anhong Guo on Accessibility and Assistive Technologies.
I am interested in designing immersive experiences for storytelling. As AR/VR ecology is developing, we want this promising technology to be more deeply leveraged in a variety of storytelling environments, from people’s daily entertainment to professional information communications. To push this trend forward, I am currently focusing on the visual and interaction design for daily news storytelling. I am really excited to work with my cohort to make content creation and consumption more enjoying in AR/VR.
